Fast-paced, energetic tax boutique law firm based in Alaska, Texas, and Hawaii has an opening in its Anchorage and Fort Worth offices for an associate tax attorney who will assist with resolution of challenging tax-related matters, including:
- Tax court litigation;
- All aspects of tax resolution, such as collections, appeals, innocent spouse, installment agreements, offers in compromise, FBAR, seizures, audits, 1031 exchanges, fraud and criminal investigations, liens, valuations, and penalty abatement;
- Business formation, transactions, internal issues, and employment taxation;
- Probate matters; and
- Wealth planning.
Applicants should be well-informed about tax procedures and possess strong writing abilities, adept oral advocacy, and highly developed interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to interview clients, analyze facts and data, Applicant must be willing to relocate to Alaska in the future if required to fulfill the duties of the position. The successful candidate will have a minimum of three years’ experience with a reputable law firm and will hold an LL.M. in taxation or will hold an active CPA license.
