If you have employees, don’t forget to file your IRS 2018 year-end reports. The reports listed below are due by January 31st, 2019.
- IRS Form 941 for 4th Quarter 2018 – Employer’s Quarterly Federal Tax Return
- IRS Form 940 for 2018 – Employer’s Annual Federal Unemployment Tax Return
- IRS Forms 1096 and 1099s
- IRS Forms W-2 and W-3 – the Social Security Administration
File, no matter what! The IRS will likely assess penalties for failure to file, so file the necessary reports even if you don’t have the money to pay the taxes due! Also, collections agents are usually more gentle when reports have at least been filed.
